Thank you all for praying for Pastor Sakaun. We tried to get him to go in for blood tests, urine tests, and an ultra sound, but he did not want to bother with it. He is taking a prescription from his local doctor and hoping that it was only kidney stones. He is also hoping that stones may have already passed. He has promised me that if there is any more blood in his urine, he will get some tests done. His wife, sons-in-law, and I had to practically tie him down to keep him from going to the village mission works on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. He did still preach at his own place on Thursday though. :) Please continue to pray for his health. If you do not hear anymore about it, then he has not had anymore problems. :)

Last Friday, December 10th, Sakaun's daughter (Srey Oun) gave birth to a healthy baby boy, 2.9 Kgs. Eli is doing fine, but mother had to have a c-section. Please pray for her quick recovery. We have asked New Hope Baptist Church to fast and pray sometime during this week for this young family.

We also had a special Christmas activity last Friday, and more than 15 adult visitors came. Two college students are interested in learning more about Christ. Both Chanti and Sna are from the province and living with other young men here in Phnom Penh while going to school. Pray that God will open the hearts of these two men to understand and accept the truths of the Gospel. Pray also for God to open up more doors to the other students that share space with them.
