What is the Kingdom of God, or, the Kingdom of heaven?
Is it a place of the future? Are all the blessings in the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5) really to be had in the future in heaven above? What is the kingdom of God, or Heaven? Certain blessings are for Heaven but the good news is that the Kingdom of God or The Kingdom of Heaven is here and now, and all those who repent and believe the gospel, by Gods grace, are transferred into His kingdom, they being a new creature in Christ, born again by Gods' Sovereign Grace. Behold all things are new, a new heart calls for a new life in a new realm in The Kingdom of God or sometimes called The Kingdom of Heaven, transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light as it puts it in Ephesians. For those still in the kingdom of darkness are still slaves to sin and under the full power of sin .We are transferred into Gods Kingdom ruled by the Lord Jesus Christ and under grace, all of grace here. Nothing here is worked for, it is all of grace, Christ is everything, all to all, no longer under condemnation (Rom 8:1). In Gods kingdom where He reigns in love, peace, grace and holiness ..... Does the world get you down?
Cheer up, we have overcome the world in Christ, we are in Gods kingdom now!
