THE GOD OF ALL GLORY
Maurice Montgomery
Oh, God of all glory! And infinite pow'r!
We gather before Thee, in this cherished hour;
In awe and in wonder; repentance and faith,
We'll love and adore Thee, in life and in death.
Oh, God of all glory! And infinite love!
You sent your Beloved, from heaven above;
Thy Son, our Redeemer, our treasure now is;
We'll praise Thee forever, that You made us His!
Oh, God of all glory! And infinite grace!
We gather before Thee, to look on Thy face;
In Christ our Redeemer, Thy face we behold,
More precious than diamonds, or silver or gold!
Oh, God of all glory! In love, grace, and pow'r,
Descend now upon us, in this cherished hour;
Erase from our hearts, Lord, each worldly, vain thought
And cause us to worship, as we would and ought.
(Tune: Away In A Manger)
Philippians 3:13-14 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

"Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God." - Romans 15:7
When I have forgiven and forgotten every offense or wrong that I have experienced or imagined;
When I have borne every hard word, act or thought;
When I have overlooked, excused, and disregarded every weakness and fall or infirmity I see in others;
When I have tried to understand and sympathized with those who are weak;
IF IT WERE POSSIBLE . . .
I would still not have borne, endured, nor forgiven ONE FRACTION of what the Redeemer has borne, endured, and forgiven in me!

"...that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God." (Eph 3:19)
‘That ye might be filled with all the fullness of God' is not to be restricted to the perfections of Diety abstractly considered, but is to be regarded as pertaining to all three Persons of the adorable Trinity. So we also understand it as signifying ‘filled with all the fullness of the triune God', and not of one person only to the exclusion of the others. There are some denominations which make most of the Father, some which make most of the Son, some make most of the Spirit. Each is equally glorious; each is equally interested in us: our salvation is due to Their joint operations and combined counsels, and therefore They should have an equal place in our thoughts and affections. Do not confine your minds to the grace of the Father in choosing and in so loving His people as to give His only begotten Son for them; for we are required to ‘honour the Son, even as ...[we] honour the Father' (John5:23). Do not confine your meditations to the amazing condescension and inconceivable sufferings of the Son on behalf of His saints, but contemplate also ‘the love of the Spirit' (Rom. 15:30) as He quickened you when dead in sins, as He indwells you, as He takes of the things of Christ and shows them unto you. Seek to be filled with the triune God.

Philippians 1:21 " For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Christ is the life of all who believe. He is our life before God; He is our life in this life. He is the only reason we exist; in Him we live and move and have our being. Those in whose heart He dwells are possessed and obsessed with Him. We can no more do without Him and live spiritually anymore than we can do without breath and live physically.
‘and to die is gain'.
When we die to this life, we will wake in His likeness. We will be free from this body of sin once for all: no more sorrow, no more shame. We will have the mind of Christ, a body fashioned like unto His glorious body. O my soul what gain!
