Dear Praying Friends,

The people in the church here have been such a tremendous encouragement and blessing to me all this week. One lady in the church turned down a government job because it would take her away from church. She told me she didn't want to forsake God and go back to her old ways. On Thursday night we took up our yearly giving promises. What a blessing to see people with so little stepping out by faith and increasing their giving. Then again today, we had seven visitors, all of which were friends or family members of the church members. What an encouragement to see them trusting God in their witnessing, giving, and decision making.

The teen activity went well this Saturday. We had a good group of teenagers who listened very well during the sermon. Like I said earlier we also had a good amount of visitors this morning. I preached on Salvation. Please pray that the teens and those who came today would be convicted of sin and see their need of Christ.

This week I was again reminded of the goodness and mercy of God. What great encouragement and blessing I found in His word and through His people. Truly, David was right when he wrote about God in Psalm 31:19 and said "Oh how great is thy goodness..."

Thank you again for the prayers.
