Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you for praying for the ladies banquet that we had on Friday night, it went very well. Thirty two women came in all; most of which were visitors. I was very proud of the church people for working hard to get their relatives and friends to come. Carol did a very good job teaching on the story of the woman with the issue of blood. The main focus of the lesson was salvation and our prayer now is that the Holy Spirit will use this lesson to show and convict the lost of their greatest need.

This morning I preached on salvation. One visitor left literally as I got up to preach. That was a little disappointing since the topic of the sermon would have been directed at him. However, it was good to have other visitors present. Two sisters of a young lady in the church were there as well as a boy who came to the teen activity we had several weeks ago. Next Saturday will be the teen activity for February. Please pray that God would speak to the youth that come.

As I reflect over the past week I can't help but to praise God for the great things He has done. Truly we serve a great and powerful God.

Thank you once again for praying for us.
