Dear Praying Friends,

Our attendance was down again on Sunday morning due to many gone on vacation throughout the republic as well as the world (United States, Canada, Belize, and the Ivory Coast.)

We praise God that, among those who are here, the evening attendance keeps going up. This Sunday I had an appointment with a man named Tomás before the evening service to witness to him. He had come several times before with a new woman named Rita and had questions. Before church, began that night, he had accepted the Lord! Pray for his baptism as well as the baptisms of others as we have plans of another baptismal service on the morning of August 7.

That same night we will have our quarterly business meeting and hope to add many more to our membership. As of now, we have seven families and three individuals. We would like to see our number of families double by our first anniversary in November when we have our next business meeting.

God blessed this month with 1,000 dollars for the Christian education building. This week, we will be putting up the beams to hold up the roof that we pray we will put on before next summer.

Please pray that God will continue to provide for the building. I believe with all my heart that God will provide in time to begin the Christian school in the 2006-07 school year.
