Dear Praying Friends This Sunday was another good Sunday with the best attendance in a while as people are back from Christmas vacation. A couple of last week's visitors came back. Pray for Esperanza, an unsaved woman that one of our ladies is bringing to church. We have had nine new adults in the last two months that have been continuing to attend our services. This year 24 new people- 17 adults and 7 children - have been added to those attend our sevices. It replaces about the smae amount who have left our church.
We had 56 on Sunday. Missing were two recently saved families that have lately been absent to the sevices. Also missing was a military family that seems to be following the way of two other military families that chose the world over God this year.
Please pray for a man I got to know last night visiting a young Christian woman named Adriana who has been attending since New Year's Eve. She has two foster brothers from India. Harry, one of them, is a Sikh. He was very polite and very open about his faith. I
I found much common ground with him from which to witness. The Sikhs are different from the Hindu as they do not believe in gods and images and believe in only one God. They hold Jesus Christ in very high esteem and I was able to lightly touch on the gospel without going into great detail.
I told him that the Bible has four books dedicated to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and he happened to have a Bible in his language. He asked me where they were in his Bible and I showed him. He seemed interested in reading them.
I had to go as I had a Bible study with a newly saved family. He invited me to return another day and drink Indian tea with them and eat. We gave us a bag of cashews (my favorite nuts); they are from India, you know. I hope to return and see him saved. Please pray that he will read the Bible and that God will prepare his heart for salvation.
Finally, please pray for Rhonda. Her pregnancy was unplanned as and there are always risks when one is older. Her pregnancy was lately been complicated by a kidney infection that has cause premature labor pains. The baby is almost seven months along. She has been prescribed bed rest and medication for about a week, but was doing too much and today almost went to the hospital as a result.
Now the doctor has put her on a strict bed rest and is not aloud to do anything. Please pray that the baby is not born until it is time.
Thank you for your prayers,
Clint Rardin
