Dear Praying Friends. Yesterday, Toby, the German young man was baptized and joined the church that night. Please pray for his Mexican wife, Flor, as she was raised in and attends a Spiritist "church". She heard the Gospel message yesterday as she came to see Toby baptized.
We had them over to eat last Friday and he mentioned that we went to sell something in a Jewish bazaar over where we were passing tracts. We got to know the Jewish owner and had a nice conversation as the Jews parents are from Austria and they both speak German.
Come to find out, the Jew was the same one the I spoke to and gave a tract to, Walter. I couldn't remember Walter's last name, but of course since Toby is German, he could. It is Bienenwald. It is wonderful how God is working out this contact as, through Toby, the Jew and I have something in common. I am looking forward to witnessing to Walter.
I had another good visit with Hari, the Sikh Indian. We were talking about Christ's death and how He bore and paid for our sins. He said he had went to see the Passion of the Christ with his Christian sister and knew about that. I said the wonderful thing about it all is that Christ also offers his righteousness to justify us before God. Justification and where almost all religions including Catholicism lacks in comprehending.
He shared a verse from Sikh scripture that says that even soap does not take away the send of man. I mentioned that we have a similar verse in Jeremiah 2:22. But his verse says that only obedience to the Scriptures can take sin away. I told him that is were we differ, that the Bible says it is only the blood of Christ can take it away and, not only that, but His righteousness is imputed to us making us God's sons and giving us the right to eternal life. Please continue to pray for his salvation.
Thank you for your prayers,
Clint Rardin
