We had a good day with a more than average attendance in the morning. Some of the kids from our Friday teen church came, which was a blessing. Hopefully we can do a salvation lesson with 5 or 6 of them next Friday. We had a nice service in the evening with most of our faithfull people, and observed the Lord's Supper.

I would like to ask you to pray for a man in our church who today made probably the most serious decision we have seen made here yet. It might cost him his family, as his wife strongly resists his coming to church more than once a week, participating in soulwinning, tithing, etc. She is like a severely spoiled child, and probably as I write this is still throwing a serious, to the point of getting violent, fit for not getting her way. Please pray that God and not the devil would get the victory in this situation. I have told our people that this year I want to see family members of our church people saved. It would be such a blessing to see this as the first victory for the year.

Well, the Asian new year eve is next Sunday, so I challenged the people about taking a clear stand against ungodly customs that are involved in this holiday. Mainly, they use vodka in celebrating the new year, and I particularly challenged them to abstain totally from that. We'll see about attendance next Sunday, also. It is usually a busy day of preparation for that evening and the next few days.
