It was another holiday weekend this past weekend, so attendance was down somewhat. But our faithful people were faithful, and we had some other blessings besides. A man came in one day and asked for a book to read. I gave him one of the tracts that we use, and he left. He came back later to give the tract back, and asked if I could explain it to him. I, of course, agreed to do that, and we set up a time to meet. It turns out that he went to church for 3 or 4 years back in the early 90's, but went into the service and started down a very wrong road that he only recently came to his senses and realized was a dead-end road. He came to the city last week from a small town to get away from his drinking buddies. As we talked, I expained salvation to him and he said that he had not completely understood it before, so he prayed to receive Christ as his Savior. He wants to be baptized this Sunday. He seems to be very sincere, but a test is coming in the near future. He is a construction worker and work is about to begin, as the weather gets warm. Construction, like much work here, is a 7-days-a-week, no-time-off job. I am praying much for him. His name is Ganbaatar.

We have four to be baptized, and 5 that have expressed a desire to join the church this coming Sunday. That is a blessing, but there are a few others that have been coming for a considerable amount of time and are very faithful, that still have not expressed a desire to join themselves officially to us.

Sorry I have not kept you up on our tax situation. The tax problem was resolved; we were not fined (though we should have been) and because I supply most of the money to run the church, the only tax we had to pay was on the salary that we give Eebee, our church secretary, I guess you would call her. Now we have all the necessary documents to extend our legal status, and it is a matter of waiting for them to call us. They must come and look at our facilities so they can make a decision as to whether we are legitimate or not.

We are praying much for our spring campaign, praying specifically for people that we plan to invite. We would appreciate your prayers for us concerning this. Also, we start a second Bible Club this Saturday in an area were several of our church people live.
