Dear Friends,

We had a day of mixed blessings today, with a good turnout of kids from day camp, but many missing of our regular people. It's summer and people get the wanderlust. The man I have mentioned before that seemed to be getting the victory over his sin was there today after missing two weeks. It was good to see him, but it is frustrating that people can't "purpose in their heart" that they are going to follow God and then do it. He said that he would be in church tonight, but I almost knew that he wouldn't. So, though I like to give good reports of God's blessing, sometimes I can't. I preached on idols tonight, and one church member's mother came. She has heard the Gospel, but can't separate from her idols, so we were glad that she came. She didn't make a decision, but we will keep praying.

I feel like we had a good week in camp last week. We saw good consistency in most of the kids, and some that were trouble at the beginning made considerable improvement during the week. The worst kid even came today. I met with 6 kids today after church that responded to invitations during the week, gave them all a book with John and Proverbs and tried to encourage them to be faithful in coming to church. We will follow up with visiting, and hopefully be able to help them to get established following God in the last week of camp in 4 weeks. We have a break now, then three more weeks starting at the end of July.

We thank you for your prayers. Becky and the baby are doing well. It was good to have her back in church both morning and evening today. We praise God for His goodness to us.

In Christ,

Jason & Becky Muller
