“Coffee with Christ”
(Psalm 119:89)
“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Oh that The Word of God were settled on Earth in the hearts of men! Settled is a wonderful word. It means that something is established, stable and agreed upon! Not only is it unsettled in the world of the lost, it remains pretty much unsettled in the universal Church. This is why there are so many denominational distinctions. The heart of man, the old nature, the flesh gets in the way of Spiritual truth. But what’s most important in your particular situation is, Is the Word of God settled in your heart? At least your understanding of what it takes for sinful man to be forgiven by a Holy God. It is the greatest gift the world has ever known.
(Romans 5:8-10)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
(2 Corinthians 5:21)
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
