Wisdom provides spiritual understanding that allows us to behave in a reverent way before our creator. it (Wisdom) gives an understanding of how to do that which is right and just to one another. The understanding that wisdom gives is not academic, but practical understanding of righteousness and justice. Wisdom informs our judgment in order to distinguish between truth and error. But wisdom does far more, it impacts our motives, thoughts, and words.
Furthermore, wisdom protects us from moral ignorance. Solomon says - Then you shall know (understand) righteousness, justice and equity for every good path. Those who do not seek wisdom remain morally ignorant and always confused as to what to do. However, God's saints know how to live, because their Heavenly Father shows them. And as we apply one level of wisdom, God grants us more wisdom. The writer of Hebrews states it this way - But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. May God grant us the grace to be skilled in the word of righteousness
