ATTENTION ABORTION ABOLITIONIST FRIENDS: If Joe Biden and Kamala Harris take the White House we won't be able to minister God's Law and Gospel freely outside of America's abortuaries, or in the city square, or at parades, or stadium events, or in our churches, or even in our homes. If the Democratic Party has their Constitution burning, 1st and 2nd Amendment ending, Supreme Court packing, Democratic Party state adding, police defunding, parental rights abolishing, radical LGBTQ perversion advancing, Marxist insurrection way…all the freedoms that we have come to take for granted and all our abortion ministries will soon be effectively over. Freedom matters.

Some of you are very new to abortion ministry. Let me give a bit of personal historical perspective. Under the growing tyranny of the radical left, during Barack Obama's reign in the White House, I was threatened with up to a year in prison and tens of thousands of dollars of family crushing fines for my abortion clinic ministry in Portland, Oregon. It was no idle threat. A duly elected Oregon state official sent a certified letter with the Oregon state seal to my home. I had to sign for it at my front door. The same tyrannical official famously fined an Oregon bakery $135,000 and shut them down for quoting the Bible and refusing to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding.

In 2016, with the near certain election of Hillary Clinton looming, my family and I were preparing for severe financial hardship and prison…and then something totally unexpected happened. Donald Trump was elected President of the United States. That changed everything. The Oregon state official and his real threats of fines and prison disappeared.

The 2016 presidential election wasn't just another election of another compromising pro-life Republican president. It was the election of a passionate defender of our God given Constitutional freedoms. It was the election of a president who is standing with Pastor John MacArthur and Christ’s Church against leftist church closing tyranny. It was the election of a president who is defending the 1st Amendment that gives ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the freedom to minister God's Word, Law, and Gospel in every state, in every city, in every venue, on every street, and outside of every abortion clinic from sea to shining sea. On a very personal level, it was the election of a president who kept me free to serve Christ in the local church, to preach Christ on the streets of Portland, to minister God’s Law and Gospel for the saving of sinners and rescuing of babies in Portland, and to come home to my wife and children at night…who haven’t been impoverished by exorbitant fines or forced to visit their husband and father behind prison bars.

I love the passion of my sincere brothers and sisters who are calling for the immediate abolition of the evil of abortion. I pray their passion doesn’t undermine their reason. If you refuse to vote as if it doesn’t matter or cast your votes for a “perfect” abolitionist presidential candidate who has no possible path to the White House, and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris take the White House, and the Democratic Party is allowed to carry out their Marxist insurrection that is well underway…you will NEVER have the opportunity to vote in your “perfect” abolitionist presidential candidate and abolish abortion. Nor will you be able to preach the Word of God freely to see sinners saved, babies rescued, and our God-hating, sexually insane, baby murdering, Romans 1:18-32 culture transformed.

Dear abolitionist brothers and sisters, I urge you cast your vote with a clear conscience against Marxist tyranny and for Donald Trump, who has proven to be a faithful defender of the Constitution, defender of freedom, and friend to Christ’s Church. In your commendable zeal, don’t forget that in the presidential election of 1860 God ordained the election of an imperfect, non-abolitionist candidate who brought about the abolition of slavery. The unlikely non-abolitionist who brought about abolition was named Abraham Lincoln. If God so chooses, He can and will do the same with President Donald Trump. God is fully and gloriously sovereign, and yet He often delights in using unlikely men and means. So vote, and pray, and speak, and preach as if the Constitution, freedom, countless lives, and eternal souls depend on it...because they do!
