God-hating tyrants will never learn to fear God when God's people cower before them in silence. We have a long history of Protestant resistance to tyranny. May God give us more bold-hearted Reformers like George Wishart, who trained up the likes of John Knox, who boldly prayed, "Give me Scotland, or I die!" and then preached fearlessly to that end despite the real threats of the Roman Catholic tyrants of his day. The Roman Catholic Mary, Queen of Scots, gave this unintended compliment to Knox, "I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the assembled armies of Europe." America's leftist tyrants...Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, and their lackey, Joe Biden...should say the same of your pastor today.

"Is not My word like a fire?" says the Lord, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" -Jer. 23:29

Catholic tyranny and heresy could not stand the fire and hammer of the Word of God preached and prayed without fear during the Reformation. Wishart taught Knox to fear God alone and no earthly power by preaching the Gospel fearlessly in the face of certain persecution and martyrdom at the hands of tyrannical Catholic authorities. Knox learned his lesson well and helped raise up an army of Reformed preachers who freed Scotland from the tyranny of Roman Catholic rule and heresy by courageously preaching the Word of God in the pulpit and on the street. The tyrants have changed, the Christian response has not! Whether faced with Catholic tyrants or Democratic Party tyrants…we pray, go, stand, and preach until Christ comes.

"Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'
