The attitude of our hearts should always be one of rejoicing in the Lord who is our defender. His favor is towards those who fear Him and who honor His name. Because of His faithfulness we have hope, because of His power we have the promise of life, of eternal rewards, of freedom from the stain and power of sin. Because GOD is faithful, powerful and above all, Holy... He can always be trusted to keep every single promise He ever made, and that means that every single one of us who trusts in Him will never be disappointed... He will protect, He will guard, He will lead, He will care for every one of His precious, chosen children. This thought should provoke ongoing, spontaneous, eclipsing praise; the kind of praise that overwhelms everything in its path with its expressive, and even explosive, triumphant joy. If we lose sight of the God to whom we belong, then our outlook becomes bleak, and even bitter... but let us have our vision restored to clarity, let us be reminded of who our God truly is, let us contemplate His goodnes to us and bask in the favor He bestows... then praise and rejoicing will erupt from us with unending passion and fervor. Rejoice, oh child of the King, Rejoice!!!
