Let all bitterness, and wrath,
and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking,
be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”
Ephesians 4:31-32

Hosanna to His Holy Name
Author: Isaac Watts Tune: Doxology
1. Now to the Lord a noble song!
Awake, my soul; awake, my tongue!
Hosanna to His Holy Name,
And all His boundless love proclaim.
2. His glory shines in Jesus’ face,
The brightest image of His grace!
God, in the person of His Son,
Has all His greatest works outdone.
3. The spacious earth and spreading flood
Proclaim the wise, the mighty God;
And His rich glories from afar
Sparkle in every rolling star.
4. But in our Lord a glory stands,
The noblest labor of His hands;
The love and mercy in HIS eyes
Outshines the wonders of the skies!
5. Grace! 'tis a sweet, a charming theme;
My thoughts rejoice at Jesus’ name:
Ye angels dwell upon the sound,
Ye heavens reflect it to the ground!

Good News
But now “mercy and truth have met together” (Psalm 85:10); now grace is righteousness and righteousness is grace. This satisfies the sinner’s conscience by showing him righteous love for the unrighteous and unlovable. It tells him, too, that the reconciliation brought about in this way shall never be disturbed, either in this life or that which is to come. It is righteous reconciliation and will stand every test, as well as last throughout eternity. The peace of conscience, thus secured, will be trial-proof, sickness-proof, deathbed-proof, judgment-proof. Realizing this, the chief of sinners can say, “Who is he that condemneth?” -- Horatius Bonar

Covered in Christ's Righteousness!
“He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness” (Isaiah 61:10). We do not think it strange, or preposterous, to wear clothes, the materials of which we borrow from other creatures. And why should it be deemed absurd that we should hide our spiritual shame by appearing before God in the garment of another, even the righteousness of Christ. --Augustus Toplady

Blessed and happy is that assembly of redeemed people, brought together and baptized into one body by His Spirit, whose love for the Lord Jesus and for one another enables them to sing with one voice, pray with one heart, walk in one direction, and worship with one Spirit! Where each member realizes the importance of his presence, his prayers, his support, and his cooperation. Where Christ is Lord and all others are servants! Where the will of Christ is preeminent and all other wills and desires are in subjection! Where there are no young and old, rich and poor, educated and uneducated, but only Christ, who is all and in all. --Copied

WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOU HAVE LEARNED?
by an anonymous Christian
If someone were to ask me, "What are the most important things you have learned?" My reply would be:
- God is more holy than I ever thought.
- I am more sinful than I ever feared.
- I am loved beyond all that I know.
