HYMN OF THE DAY
My All In All
I'm unable to help myself. I'm ruined by the fall.
There's redemption outside myself. 'Tis Christ my all in all.
All I needed He provided. For mercy did I call.
He took my place, for me He died. He is my all in all.
Christ Jesus died for all my sin. No sin will he recall.
His righteousness He gave to me; my Christ, my all in all.
I will see the Lord face to face. (The best is He by far.)
All because of the sov'reign grace of Christ my all in all.
O, praise the Savior for His love who saved me from the fall.
He is the Lord come from above. He is my all in all.
There is no other One like Him who hears the sinner's call.
He is the Most High God. Amen! He is my all in all.
He stands for me before God's throne. His shed blood pleads my cause.
He'll welcome me into His home. He is my all in all.
My entrance will be full of joy. This world I'll not recall.
It is my Lord I will enjoy. He is my all in all.

ABSOLUTE EXCHANGE ROM. 5:19
For by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. It was by the sin of Adam that sin and death passed upon us, we not only had his sin imputed to us, but we also inherited his sinful nature. We then are sinners by birth and sinners by practice. “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good and sinneth not” Eccl. 7:20.
But blessed be the name of the Lord the same way we became sinners we become righteous. We did nothing to become sinners we do nothing to become righteous. There is an absolute exchange made, when our dear Savior went to the cross and died under the judgment and wrath of His Holy Father, he suffered not for himself but for those whom he represented. He was suffering the wrath of God because he was bearing his peoples sin upon his body on that tree. What was the absolute exchange? He became what I am, that I might become what He is He took my sin, that I would have His righteousness, he took my disobedience, I get his obedience, he suffered my death, (my separation from God) that I would receive his life. He was made a curse, that I might be blessed, He was separated from God, that I might be brought nigh to God. Gal. 3:13, 1 Pet. 3:18.
Just as we also inherited Adams sinful nature, we also become partakers of Christ's nature, his holy nature is given to us in the new birth, and it makes us love things we once hated and hate things we once loved. Our sinful natures loved sin, hated righteousness, now we love righteousness and hate sin. Once, listening to preaching and reading the bible would be the last things we would have done, now it is our delight.
“God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father” Gal. 4:6. Thank God not only was Christ for us at the Cross, and accomplished our complete salvation, but, He is also in us “Christ in you, the hope of glory” Col. 1:27. By his Spirit in us, He continually works in us both to will and do of His good pleasure, and we are kept in the enjoyment of what he did for us by His sacrificial death on the cross. It is not only an absolute exchange; it is also an eternal exchange. - Pastor
IN CHRIST
Often someone asks what "position" do you hold on a particular doctrine, such as particular redemption, or the depravity of man. But the word of God never tells us to come to a position, but to a person to Christ Jesus the Lord. He himself said; "Come unto me" again; "all that the Father gives me shall come unto me, no man cometh unto the Father but by me".
The scriptures speak of believers being "In Christ" in several places. This is the place I want to be found - In Christ. This is the only place where a sinner can have a secure position from sin, death, hell, and the judgment and wrath of God. When a sinner comes to Christ, trusts Christ and learns that he was chosen In Christ before the foundation of the world, then he has the most blessed position a poor sinner can have.
Justified! Accepted! Righteous! Where? Before God, who is holy and inhabits eternity. Before Him who knows our thoughts afar off. Before Him who knows the heart. "Who shall lay anything to the charge of god's elect? It is God that justifieth.” How? "It is Christ that died, yea rather is risen again, who sitteth at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us". Rom. 8:33-34. - Pastor
~~~ O ~~~
A Congregation cannot be said to welcome the Lord Jesus unless they are all there, which requires punctuality; unless they have come with design to meet him, which implies a prayerful expectancy; unless they are ready to hear from him, which involves attention; and unless they are resolved to accept his teaching, which demands obedience. -
