We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us! Rom 8. v 37
Faith in Christ is the only answer to trouble. If we are in tears, or sorrow, grieving in a valley of death, this only is our plea and answer. Faith through it all, in Christ. Let life bring what it will, Christ is still the same. Faith in Him still dismisses all our fears and sorrows. Oh, they may still be there, but they have no right to overwhelm us in light of a Saviour's love. They won't rule us, Christ will. We may go down, but we come up. We may still be struggling with sin, but we get mercy, We may be very weak, but He gives power to the faint. All of this because of faith in Christ. If we look to Him today, whatever our state, be it very bad, it can lift us, looking will help, if mixed with faith.
Have we faith today in Christ that whatever the plight we have, Christ is the master of it all and it all works for my good (Rom 8v28). Oh, Christ, who works with me, be unto me that stone that cannot be moved, that tower I can run to, that peace that controls my heart soul and mind. Am I so taken up with Christ? I can see no foe that will beat me, hurt me and bring me under its power. In Christ, I have victory, for He has done it all for me. Look at Romans 8 he defeated sin, death and the Devil. If self, be our focus we are in trouble. If Christ is our focus, our goal, our life, our way, our end. Faith in Christ will see us through. We must not act as if we are defeated by anything in life. In Romans 8 v37 it says we 'are' more than conquerors (Rm8. v. 37). Even now!!! Not waiting, but now we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us, the God man, the Divine one, Christ. The One who so loved us, He gave Himself for us. Have faith in Christ my soul.
