THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF SUBSTITUTION
The gospel of substitution declares that sinners are saved because Christ died for them as their substitute. The gospel of substitution is glorious because it glorifies the attributes of God in the salvation of sinners. The gospel of substitution declares the wisdom of God by telling how God can be both Just and Justifier (Rom. 3:26). The gospel of substitution declares the love of God for sinners by telling how Christ died for sinners from all over the world (John 3:16). The gospel of substitution declares the grace of God by telling how Christ died for the ungodly (Rom. 5:6). The gospel of substitution declares the justice and power of God by telling how the Father punished sin and let the innocent go free by making His Son sin for His people and making His people righteous in Christ (II Cor. 5:21). The gospel of substitution is the only gospel God uses to give saving faith to His elect (Rom 1:16-17) because it is the only gospel that reveals God’s glorious Savior.
The gospel can’t be understood by human logic. Don’t bother trying to understand the gospel before you believe on Christ. Just believe Christ. Nowhere in scripture are we told to understand the gospel. The only thing we are commanded to do is believe Christ. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).
ABOUT CASUAL WORSHIP
“I believe that our thoughts of God are reflected in every part of our worship service. What part will the preaching of the Word of God have in the service? Will the truth of Christ and His saving work be the message? Are the hymns that we sing such that glorify God? Are the words true to Scripture? Are we faithful to join with God's people? Do we come on time? If late, do we come in quietly? Do we dress appropriately?
We do not set rules, and would never want to say anything that would keep anyone from coming to hear the Gospel. However, we live in a time when everyone wants to be casual, but there is nothing casual about the worship of God Almighty.”
Pastor Milton Howard
Surrender To God
To be saved from sins is to be saved from ignoring and despising the authority of God. It is to abandon the course of self-will and self-pleasing. It is to forsake our way; it is to surrender to God’s authority; it is to yield to His dominion; it is to give ourselves over to be ruled by Him. One who has never taken Christ’s yoke upon himself and who is not truly seeking to please Him in all details of life, and yet supposing he is resting in Christ, is deceived.

Christ The Lamb
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a Lamb for a burnt offering (Genesis 22:7-8).
When the Gospel is preached, there is one thing that one will always hear...Christ the Lamb. He is the message. The issue is the glory of Christ, His work, His holiness, and His satisfaction of the law for His sheep. When any man stands up to preach, let this test be set upon the words that you hear: "Where's the Lamb?" If I don't hear Him, I haven't heard the only message that the Holy Ghost will bless to the salvation of a sinner.
