Great Book! Thank you for providing this audio book. I appreciate your work in reading it for us. I pray many will listen and read Mr. Stonehouse's biography of Mr. Machen - a wonderful hero of the faith. I especially like learning of his mother who set a fine example of godly womanhood.
Excellent Sermon! Thank you so much for this sermon on Romans 13: 1-7 and our duty as Christian citizens. It is badly needed and I appreciate your courage in preaching God's Word without apology or compromise. May the good Lord bless Dr. Walicord and his congregation. Amen.
Great Sermon! Timeless Biblical truth is presented in this sermon and Christians need to be reminded of it. Thank you to Covenant OPC for preserving Rev. Williamson's teaching on women preachers and the book of 1 Corinthians.
Great Sermon! Love, love , love this sermon! Pastor presents women in the Bible in a historical and balanced manner while teaching the value of godly womanhood and how it is presented in the Word of God. This sermon is very encouraging for sisters in Christ and a bit humbling for our brothers whom we love dearly.
A point of concern for me is that while something might be legal, is it ethical? Is it right to designate taxpayer funds for a specific purpose and then use them for another?
I don't think it's the free platforms that attracts people as much as it is the desire for fellowship and human connection. I left FB a long time ago and while I miss my family and friends who are still using it, I just don't want to be manipulated by what FB allows on our timeline. Some of the stuff they promoted was really depressing; I'm happier without it.
I consider Dr. Dobson a Christian and while we might not agree on all theological or political issues, it doesn't mean he's a false convert. I think some are too quick to condemn others and I advise them to instead search their own hearts to be sure they are truly in the faith.
I'm so sorry for those who have suffered at the hands of any spiritual abuser and Pastor MacDonald appears to be one. I remember Mancow from years back and I praise the Lord for drawing him to Himself - I also pray he will now find a good solid church with sincere, genuine Christian leadership that will love him and his family as Christ loves the church.
I'm not familiar with this actor, but I am shocked that he is so glib about invoking the name of Satan after winning an award. He truly is a lost soul and one I will pity and pray for, but not one that I plan to watch on television or at the theater. Thank you, SA, for carrying this story.
Good news! My husband is a Tool and Die Maker and has been saying for years there aren't enough skilled workers in his field. In fact, he's been wondering who will take his place when he retires in 2020. (Heads up, Gen Z - there's jobs available in the machinist industry.)
From what I can tell, this has been under-reported! I'm glad SermonAudio and Baptist Press covered it. It's something Christians need to be aware of and keep an eye on.
When I first heard of this young man's death, I was reminded of Jim Elliot who also went to an unkown primitive tribe to share the Good News and was killed by tribesmen. From what I've read, his wife went back with other missionaries and many have become Christians from that tribe. I don't think this young man was seeking thrills when he went as the 2nd paragraph of the article posted above says he did his homework, prepared and studied the tribe before going. Friends, I think his work will stand or fall before the Lord and we should refrain from passing judgment. Only the Lord knows what fruit his attempt at evangelization of a primitive tribe will produce.
