Good Question! "What is the Law?" This is a good question, and it is answered in a most helpful way. I rather think that the answer to the question will set the scene for what is coming up. |

Great Sermon! "Christ died for the ungodly." This is a most potent verse, and very precious to me, hearing it as I did in 1979 with new ears and a quickened mind. It showed me the incredible love of Jesus for sinners, that he should die on their behalf, a substitutionary atonement for the ungodly. |

Great Sermon! It's an amazing introduction to the subject of a believer's sanctification subsequent to his conversion. In other words, what is the believer's rule of life? Is it John Calvin's third use of the law? Or something else not found in Reformed teaching. What actually IS the law? What were Judaizers trying to achieve in the first century (and today)? What about reconstructionism and antinomianism? HyperCalvinism? Is the Reformed view of 'the law' correct, in that it divides the law into three sections?
Brother David here graciously seeks to put forward his answers from the Bible, and it is a most profitable endeavour and very helpful for every believer who desires to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, through the correct means of ongoing and progressive sanctification. |

Great Sermon! Love for sinners and a desire for their salvation is a fruit of the Spirit and a good evidence of the new birth. |

Great Truth! Yes there is a hatred by the world for Jesus Christ and all in him. Yes indeed! |

Interesting Series! I'm very glad to have found this series, as it touches upon the very thing that I am researching and getting to understand better. I'm also glad that someone has taken the trouble to define their terms, particularly the biblical principle of 'sanctification', which many do not realise has two separate uses in the Bible. I'm looking forward to going through this series, and learning more about the ways of God. Thank you brother. |

Divine Compassion! Once again, the compassion from heaven is revealed in the healing of the blind man at Bethsaida. I like the way Brother David refuses to spiritualise every single aspect of the account, but takes the main points, and gets them across very well. |

Big Deliverance! It is no small thing to be delivered from the dominion, the control, of the devil. And all are under such until God releases the prisoners and sets them free in Christ Jesus. Praise the Lord for great grace. |

The Way, The Truth, The Life! A Christ-centred ministry always makes much of the Lord Jesus Christ; this is why I am getting so blessed by listening to Brother David Gay. His messages are full of Christ. |

Good preaching! In the text are found two sorts of people: "Those who have been born into God's family do not make a practice of sinning, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God." (1 John 3:9-10 NLT) All of us are either one or the other. Which? |

Sound preaching! The healing of the blind man illustrates the giving of sight and understanding to the spiritually blind. |

Great Encouragement! "For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children". Romans 8:16. Here is the assurance designed by God when he declares anyone justified and adopted. His Spirit testifies and affirms our adoption, praise God. |

Good lesson! Dealing with pre-suppositions, which can lead to wrong thinking. I guess most of us can relate to that. |

More encouragements! Not by prayers, tears, church attendance, works, baptism. But this access is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting solely in him. When sinners are quickened by the Spirit, the gospel becomes clear and simple: Jesus has done it all. Praise God! |

Necessary warning! It's a heart matter. Jesus warns his disciples because there is danger. |
