John,

This will be my last one on this so
Here's the jist of it all in the Luke 14 context and how I see it.

Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Forsake all their works of self righteousness.

Ron 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Paul called his dung whereas other trusted in their own self righteous works of the law for justification and would not fosake their own inadequate works for the perfect work of God.

What Paul called dung is what I understand to be spoken of in this context you gave.

Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

-----

Simply put, The Son quickeneth whom He wills.

Per the context St. John, That is a specific group of people that was being spoken to.... not all people.

Here's another angle on this topic. Its mostly accepted that the just shall live by faith. But confusion comes on the source.

Paul teaches here...

Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith....

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood....

The blood of Christ is also a figure of faith, a feminine noun.... a possession. We do not “put our faith in Christ” as so many seem to believe. He puts His faith in us by means of the HS (feminine gender) to enable us to believe to the saving of our souls. *See Gal 2:20.* Paul did say he was the pattern.

Faith is not the human ability to reason and make informed decisions. Faith enables the possessor thereof to love God (Deut 6:5) which is the righteousness of the Zion covenant. Indeed, faith is righteousness because it is the blood of Christ.

No one would accuse Paul of not giving all glory for His salvation to a merciful God, yet he stated in his testimony, I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed.
This is not Arminianism or Calvinism this is simply what saith the Scriptures.  God commands all to repent, those whom are commanded must respond.  If they do so, it is because God granted unto them repentance, it they do not it is because they rejected the truth and changed it into a lie that God’s call to repentance did not include them.   Either way it is a response.
I think you make some great points Bro US but The response is simply the effect of the cause, namely One of His Whom God put His Spirit in. The results will always be the same.

Ezek 37:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

This is all God's work and if He didn't initiate it by taking away stony hearts, all would go on in rebellion to their eternal destruction just as Pharaoh did when God hardened his heart.
Amen! It is God's work. There is only one Surgeon in the operating room.

Deut. 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

He is the Surgeon which Circumcises the heart to Love God which is what enabled Paul and what enables believers.

1 Tim 1:14 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me

1 Tim 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Paul says he was a first for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to Life everlasting.

Who's the "Them"?

Christians.

The new name His servants would be called by (Isaiah 62:2, Rev 3:12)

John 6:51 I am the **living bread** which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

The Bread is His flesh per John 6:51 and the same flesh which Paul says the Son gave Him (Gal. 2:20).... the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1 cor 5:8
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with **the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.**

1 cor 2:4...Paul's preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

1 Cor 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Cor 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men which Ezek speaks to here.

Ezek 24:22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, **nor eat the bread of men.**

What was the bread of men?  (Matt. 16:11-12)

1 Cor 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven

What Paul speaks to was the Purging of wisdom that taught dead works (Heb 9:14) and by means (1 Cor 5:8) with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

I'll address a few of your thoughts you gave Remo.

Remo:Your not serious? Well that is your interpretation thats all it is! As mine is as well.

[Remo, In the context of Jer. That is the conspiracy taught per the next verse, not my own thoughts on the matter]
-
Remo:No one in History conspiring against the peolle of GOD. Northern Kingdom agaisnt southern.

[The Northern kingdom is the house of Israel and the southern is the house of Judah which both are spoken of in the Jer verse as well as throughout the prophets.

Jer 5:11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.
12 They have belied the LORD, and said, It isnot he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
13 And the prophets shall become wind, and ***the word is not in them***: thus shall it be done unto them.

Paul says this about them.

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Paul teaches on imaginations.

2 Cor 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of C

Biblically speaking, what's the conspiracy?

Jer 11:9 And the LORD said unto me, A ***CONSPIRACY***is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Here's the answer.

10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

Dare I say many today haven't turned their back as they never were any of His to turn their back.
The only recommendation I can give is drop YouTube and pick up the bible....or listen to Gods word on a good audio bible.

No need to reply. But it amazes me how people, christian people dont believe in conspiracy
Yet ps 2 rev 13 , 17 gosples all of kings all talk about and did them.

Ps 2 is today rev 13 , 17 today some prophetic Scripture is for today.

The reason conspiracy is not believed is because His Word is to be a lamp unto our feet, not a YouTube link.

Concerning Psalm 2, which you say is for today, has a text within Acts that cites Psalm 2 as being fulfilled and gives context to what Psalm 2 is actually speaking to.

Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

There is no substitute for Scripture citing Scripture for validating truths and gathering information of events spoken of in the bible.

Absolutely Frank, the leftist media have become good at creating false yet crafty narratives with the intention to mislead all from the truth. Since there is no accountability for their lies...they continue on
