Don't forget about the part where Pelosi said she was set up at the hair salon. Yet she was the one who made the appointment.

I will ponder this more. I also came to 2 peter passage 2.10 was going to hear a sermon on this passage on s.a but none deal with government speaking evil of dignities in my view context verse 11 explains, well in my view very basic.
No one preachers this subject it all about false teachers?
Thanks for your reply and yes...Always good to ponder.

I'm not sure if anyone preaches its about false teachers but Scripture teaches it there in the verse you pointed out.

I see Those that despised government of God and His Word being spoken of.
They were not afraid to speak evil of "dignities" or His glory.

Here's a link to that Greek term dignities and take a look at the other usage in other contexts.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G1391&t=KJV

Peter gets redundant in saying the same thing over and over but using different terminology but we get the benefit of knowing exactly who and what He is referring to.

2 Peter 2:2 by reason of whom **the way of truth shall be evil spoken of**.

2 Peter 2:12 speak evil of the things that they understand not;

Its clear They did not understand The way, the truth and the life.

This is the response that I have been waiting for. It is good Blacks that must speak against those sponsoring the evil people who have hijacked the righteous cause of equality for all and replaced it with racial justice, social justice, LGBTQ (not enough letters in the alphabet) rights, and all other perverted themes they call justice.
Ironically, Nike gets it's name from the same Greek root in the dangerous teaching of the Nicolaitans (conqueror of the people) which our LORD warns us of in Rev 2:6 and Rev 2:14-15. However, He tells us that it is we (the Church) who are the real conquerors.

It could be—notice I didn’t say it is , but merely that it could be—that there is a propensity among certain people to resent and resist duly appointed authority. It could also be that such resistance is often exacerbated by abuse of alcohol and illicit drugs. And it could be that people who, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, use extreme measures in resisting duly appointed authority tend to create volatile situations in which they are likely to get themselves shot. Situations, I might add, in which reason says that they SHOULD be shot. Now it just could be, couldn’t it, that the police officers are just trying their best to do what they are appointed to do, and the real perpetrators in most cases are the lawless hooligans who resist them?
Yes sir! If no one ever resisted when stopped, this pandemic of hate would quickly be solved. Unfortunately, none seem to be interested in an inoculation of reality.

Thx brother james
In my opinion and per our countries constitution, It's your right to say something If you think the civil governing authorities are doing wrong. We have plenty here in the USA who are doing wrong for sure.

My point is that Rom 13 has absolutely nothing to do with any civil government although I admit most think otherwise as most commentaries say so.

For some reason, its either missed or ignored That the same minister of God mentioned in Rom 13:4 is also found in the prophets more than once and not taken into consideration.

Here's one.

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

I am glad you said you were vague it made me feel better 😊.
That helps if i am a pastor. How would it apply to us today.
Only after understanding the picture of what happened can we make any application but There's so much more to that picture than just pastors. What about the sheep they led astray?

Those pastors led God's sheep astray. Taught them to hate God (worship Baal) as opposed to love God.

Read the context surrounding these verses which gives even more light to the story.

Jer 50:6 6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray,

Zech 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be *;scattered**: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Who was Peter's letter addressed to?

1:11 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the *strangers scattered*...same group in Zech 13:7.

Jer 12:16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

Do these verses help solidify the picture?

Thx James the fault is with me my brain just carnt see your point.
Actually, I was kinda vague with my point so let me try again.

In Rom 13:4, there is a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil by a sword.

In Deut 32:41 God says He renders vengence to His enemies by a sword.

Here's an example of the revenge and sword in Jeremiah to be used against God's enemies (pastors)(spoilers) who taught lies(trust in Baal not God) which led His (sheep) people astray therefore destroying his vineyard (covenant).

Jer 12:10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

Jer 12:12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

Jer 12:16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

Jer 12:17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.

Does that help?

Hi James since i am anyone else. Do you have a favorite sermon on romans 13. A sermon that will show Gods true intention use of Romans 13.
Thanks . Willing to listen.😊
No I don't Remo but I think God does a great job of telling us His true intention through His Word. The trail of citations given by The apostles whom God ordained to do so as well as other mentions in Scripture of the same events , teaches us the truth.

Just identifying the sword mentioned in Rom 13:4 alone would nullify the common belief that it is a reference to Civil government.

Here's what I read about it.

In Rom 2:6 Paul teaches that God will render to every man according to his deeds.

How? By what means? His glittering sword.

The sword is one In The same as the one spoken of in Deut 32:41.

When the wrath of God was revealed from heaven (Rom 1:18, Rev 19:11); is when the Lord wielded His glittering sword (Deut 32:41) which was/is in the hand of the minister of God to execute wrath on evildoers (Rom 13:4) by which all the sinners of His people die by the sword (Amos 9:10 cf Rom 7:9). This day is consistently named "the day of the Lord"; a day of darkness (Amos 5:20, Rom 13:12).

Rom. 13 teaches that obedience is due to secular authorities. I find no anarchist/libertarian qualification "only if their policies are sound."

the choice for me is easy and Biblical: I obey whether I think masks work or not, so as not to give offense.

Mask-wearing is not the "Hill to Die On" for Christians. Liberty of public worship is.

I agree Neil, The mask wearing is not the hill to die on. My wife and I have no problem complying with any business which requires them worn. And I agree with you on the Freedom to worship hill, if it's gone our country is gone.

I do have a sincere question for you or anyone else though.

Rom 13:4   For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for **he beareth not the sword in vain:** for he is the minister of God, **a revenger to execute wrath** upon him that doeth evil.

If the above "minister of God" is a reference to secular authorities, then why is that same revenger,  which revealed God's wrath in Rom 1:18 said to have come from heaven?

Rom 1:18   For the wrath of God is revealed *from heaven* against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

Didn't mention the term circumcision in any of my posts Remo so I'm confused where you get that from.

If you want to believe that is what is spoken about in the Revelation, so be it. I just don't agree with it and I don't agree with your thought that everyone else needs to believe what you think.

1.I quoted that because you have an idea that the bible smoking gun is no works of any kind even walking in the spirit.

2. So yes if the bible uses pharmakeus or Pharmakiea its has MEANING!

3. 2chron 16.12

1. Never said that. Self righteous Works of the law(Rom 10:3) is the bewitching in Galatians Paul said the certain men of James were guilty of. That's different than the fruit(work) of the Spirit(Gal. 5:22) which is the fulfillment of Gal. 5:14 Love thy neighbor.

2. Yes, but it is God who defines the term He used in His context, not just our own understanding of a word. I'm thankful for corrections from Scripture though.

3. Mar 2:17 They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The sickness here is a spiritual condition which The Physician heals.

Asa had diseased feet. Why? He sought not the Lord. He didn't walk with Him(Psalm 119:105).

Paul had beautiful feet. Why? Compare Rom 10:15 and Paul's citation from Isaiah 52:7.

Eph 6:15 And *your feet* shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Literal or metaphoric picture of the spiritual condition? See John 13 where Jesus washed feet.

I understand what your saying better now. Your message is "Stop the vain talk of big pharma who peddle the vaccines. Sound Right? If so, I agree. They are terrible on many levels. And if your just taking it as a biblical principle and applying it to this situation. Okay...I get it.
I cant, however, go along with your thought,if I'm understanding you correctly, on vaccinations being any part of the biblical storyline in The Revelation or anywhere else in Scripture for that matter and most certainly has nothing to do with the mark of the beast.
