Ladybug, Seriously, you are disingenuous and out of place. Demanding apology and acting like some priestess of righteousness, trying to create a faction through compliments. Besides, I said I appreciate Frank's genuine remarks, it was candor and uncompromising. I did come in, as UP stated in a post, like bull in a china shop, but it was to multiple posters and general to the church. Yet, you sit and wait like an asp to strike. Then say " well, WE tried to set him straight" yeah, like you do Jim and John Y constantly and specifically. Why is it I, Jim, and John need the rebuke and barrage of repent or perish exhortation? Why do your posts hold more weight than mine or somehow the apex of righteousness? Ladybug....like that's your real name. |

Ladybug, I do not refute scripture, only some of your use of it. Yes, there are those who, by God's grace, hear AND are made alive simultaneously, but this isn't the issue. I mean, seriously, how is the age of a person at baptism apply to true salvation? Plus, if a child is baptized as a babe does that mean they CANNOT be saved because it is perceived to be of the RCC? To use your angle, where does it EXPLICITLY state in scripture women are baptized? If it doesn't, then why are they baptized? This illustrates how Scripture is to be read as a whole to understand the flow of God's revelation. |
