There is nothing you can offer to God to prove your devotion.
The gospel says so. Yes?
There is nothing you can offer to satisfy DEITY. GOD will propitiate HIMSELF to remedy the situation of real sin. SIN.
Sin is remedied by and through the offer of HIMSELF TO HIMSELF, on !your! behalf.
