“ Powerful Sermon! ” This message is filled with some heavy questions and answers about death of flesh and power of the Holy Spirit. Even though we are "saved" we don't understand some of the demands God requires of us to not be enmity to God. This is an involved message and best understood by hearing it more than once.
“ Great Sermon! ” In this message we see where Paul struggled with the power of the flesh with the power of the Holy Spirit in living a righteous life. This is a very difficult position and we do get help in understanding this battle with various views and explanations on how to deal with this struggle. It helps to try to "get a handle on it."
“ Comforting Sermon! ” Once we become a child of God through His Grace and Faith in Jesus Christ we have a new life to live. But our old sin nature still has to be fought because of temptations to do things of our old sin nature. But we must dedicate ourselves to obedience to God and not to Satan. This battle goes on but if we continue to let the Holy Spirit dictate our behavior we will draw closer to Jesus Christ in our daily walk.
“ Great truth. ” It is true: we must separate from compromise and separate for Christ. We must separate from error in order to be at the Lord's disposal.
“ Blessing! ” What a refreshing message to hear. Pastor Oesterwind deals with the plain meaning of the text of Scripture in Genesis 1. This is a blessing in an age that seeks to make Scripture say something other than what it does say. Thanks, Brother!
“ Great Sermon! ” And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. (I John 5:20 NKJV)
