Thanks for this timely message. I hope that you will remain open for Lord's day services. This is a time that we as Christians need to excercise faith in obeying God, and not be moved by what is around us.
How helpful! How Scriptural Seeking for help in a mixed marriage I downloaded this sermon and was again amazed to find the Lord pouring in the oil and the wine. Thank you for preaching such a searching, painstaking and Scriptural sermon. Much help, comfort, and challenge to make holiness our practice instead of murmuring.
Wonderful sermon if you are struggling What a wonderful sermon. For those of us suffering (and sinning) our way through a mixed marriage, confused and unsure much of the time, I have found much hope and help in this very scriptural, sound, and methodical sermon. Tank you very much for keeping close to God's Word and for doing a service to the flock who are in this position. It can be a blessed position! I now understand this!
Great Sermon! WOW, What a sermon. You didn't add or take anything away from the verse.you painted an awesome picture for all to see. glory, glory, glory.
Spoiled! This debate was spoiled for me by the peculiar need of the presenter to witter inanities and by Mr. Antwi's lack of clear pronunciation. Wasn't it possible, in the whole of the UK, to find a native born English Pentecostal minister able to defend his beliefs?
Defence of the Truth I listened to this debate with great interest. It was inspiring and humbling to hear Angus Stewart holding fast to the Word of God despite strong opposition. Holding fast to the truth and showing the meekness and gentleness of Christ was a beautiful testimony, Angus. What was very clear to me is the confusion that comes in when men inject their own thinking and reasoning into debates on Divine matters.
Anyone watching this debate will be able to see this: one man who is confused, perplexed and in doubt; another who's words (although delivered with varied emotion and cadence) did not stand up to the scrutiny of Scripture - and a third, quietly spoken, who patiently expounded the Scriptures; based his whole argument solidly on the Word of God, and firmly but faithfully answered all the questions that were put to him. Thank God for His Word, and thank God there are persons today who will stand up and defend it faithfully.
Convicting and beneficial Sermon Sobering realities presented for the believer's walk. When the Spirit is vexed God might leave churches to themselves which continue 'functioning' outwardly for a time before the great apostasy takes over. Sound approach and helpful teaching.
Amazing Grace! Wow, God has granted you with some amazing patience, Pastor Stewart! Mr. Antwi's lack of self control is really astonishing. Not mention, this is the 2nd of your debates that I've seen so far and it seems as though the one who is supposed to be neutral always ends up arguing against you as well... smh...
Let God be true and every man a liar.
Praise God for your patience my brother and thank you for standing for the truth of God's word!
Great Sermon! This sermon is coming through as the baptism sermon Gen 17, I enjoyed the message and would like listen to the last days sermon as well, thank you, brother Kevin!
Great Sermon! Clear bible focussed presentation. But we must remember this psalm in its context of David - and balance against :
KJV
Hebrews 13
13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
Great Sermon! Lovely clear bible focussed presentation thank you. In my situation I have in fact fled from the 'church' - my home church was using any old bible version and promoting ecumenism. Left with their blessing and gods clear direction to attend a more Orthodox Church- the ' vicar' an ( ex ???) homosexual was steeped in freemasonry allowed witches to rent out the hall. I had no recourse but to leave- attended a small fellowship that was infiltrated by false teachers and eventually collapsed. I moved to the local bible college- again used multi bible versions - preached replacement theology and then adopted emergent church programme. Sometimes we have no recourse but to walk alone - I have ten or so brethren that are with me. I have been without a home church for maybe 5 years- I listen to on line sermons and I tract and am still walking firmly with the Jesus of the bible.
Great Debate Thank you Pastor Stewart, you nailed them as it was 2 against 1.Truth always wins I am a former pentecostal, and thankfully was led to the truth.
I have seen many reformed Christians who believe muslims are seeing Jesus. I don't understand as more than any others they believe in God's sovereignty in salvation. Unless the Spirit draws us and opens our hearts to receive the Gospel, we will never be saved. Why would Jesus suddenly bypass the Biblical way to salvation and personally appear. They talk about all these signs and wonders, I say... where are they. People do get healed today but not through going to a so called faith healer. Blessings. Arggh, I'm sure you don't think it is impossible to raise people from the dead.
Historically Accurate Message! Not your typical message on the subject.
Boldly proclaims the truth in addressing the role of women. Not what much of the modern interpreters of gender roles are pushing on many who attend church today in this 21st Century.
Thanks be to God!
