Much appreciated message A very commendable sermon on the issue. Although the sermon is primarily a critique of the EP position, it does have the effect of exalting New Testament worship and reminding us of its richness, while at the same time bringing out too the beauty and excellence of the Psalms, and their continuous effect on our worship even now.
Great Sermon! Pastor Johnston,
Keep doing what you are doing, Sir, and please, Mebane, please, don't stop posting your messages. Messages like this one are such a refreshment.
DON'T GO BACK AND POST OLD MESSAGES!
It isn't your historically big named messages that have touch this girl's lonely heart. THANK YOU, thank you for showing me JESUS and reminding me there's joy.
Be encouraged!
Great Sermon! A most encouraging message giving renewed confidence in the one gospel and the need to proclaim this to everyone everywhere. Especially encouraging in the light of the relativism and pluralism that surrounds us all today and the fact that christians are branded continually as intolerant, divisive people.
Very Edifying In this sermon Pastor Pizzino hints that a frequent pulpit swap between Roanoke and Mebane would give Roanoke the better end of the deal. This sermon shows that as far as communication abilities, pathos, and expositional skills, the Pastors Gary and Randy are every bit equal. My only regret is the limited number of Pizzino's sermons on Sermon Audio. This is an excellent overview of Romans 1:29... Listen! Please give us more!
A Gospel Message A wonderful sermon with the essence of the gospel, highly recommended if you want to hear the true, historical message of the Christian gospel of Jesus Christ in its pure form. If you have heard the gospel other places, compare it to this message. If you have not heard the gospel, this is it!
A Great Sermon! Amen! Excellent sermon! Hear this wonderful message, and give a copy to your Arminian friends to hear also!
Yes, praise God, our eternal Salvation is of the Lord!
Excellent Sermon! Excellent introduction. There is little that I can say except that I am never disappointed with Pastor Hendrix preaching. The down to earth honesty and exhortation to ministerial aspirants... The passion that is still there after so many years, what a great addition to Sermon Audio to have this exposition on Colossians. If you get a chance, please upload some of his sermons on marriage and child rearing. I haven't heard them since the early 1990's.
Great Sermon! I have listened to Pastor Donnelly's series on Daniel over the last few days. I have greatly enjoyed these messages and have been blessed by them. I can recommend them to all. Challenging, encouraging, inspiring. O to have a faith like Daniel had!
Great Sermon! This is preaching that we all must seek. This is a warning to every one of us to guard our souls and to live our lives for CHRIST and CHRIST alone !!! Praise be to GOD that he has raised up Jim Savatio to be a beacon of light in these dark days.
Outstanding Treatise! My family and I love to worship the LORD with the Psalms, and the Scottish Psalter in particular; yet, when we meditate upon the truth of the lofty majesty of Christ and His work upon Calvary's Tree, all of our worship comes short of the fulness of glory due Him. It is by His grace that our worship can be received at all. Thank you for treating this very controversial topic with respect, courtesy, and very careful and thoughtful exegisis of God's Word... and thank you very especially for closing with the most important truth concerning New Covenant worship: exalting Jesus Christ and His holy name therein.
Great Sermon! There are two Sermon Audio messages that shed great light on this issue. The Ivan Foster debate SID=1150585132, and now this sermon by Pastor Gary Hendrix. I am very thankful that the church in Mebane has given this to us, though I am mourn with them at the circumstances that led up to it. I must admit that some of the most useful polemics are taught under the most difficult controversies and we long for the return of our Lord when in His light we will no longer "see through a glass, darkly" 1 Cor. 13:12
Great Sermon! It is a great pleasure to see the sermons from Grace in Mebane on SermonAudio. This particular series by Pastor Donnelly was talked about for years after it was preached at the SE RBFC in Dayton TN in 1997.
It is another of those "must hear" sermon series. We look forward to any sermons also by Gary Hendrix in the future. By the way, I gave Albert Martin a copy on CD of Pastor Hendrix's sermon on the doctrine of Exclusive Psalmody Examined, last Sunday. He wanted to hear it after I told him about it. God bless your diligent work Dave!
