True in deed! I like the reference in the sermon to Dr. Harold Willmington. It is so wonderful to be able to learn from the likes. He in his comments on the Lords Prayer said "If you won’t forgive … you can’t pray, “Forgive us our debts."
And he also agrees that " we cannot make a final judgment concerning the salvation of any professing Christian, for only God knows those who truly belong to him."
It is so good to hear good solid teaching from the bible and be able to study further to the edifying of the saints.
Great Insight! From Dr. Harold Willmington:
Question: What kind of person is unable to pray the Lord’s prayer?
Answer:
If you don’t know Christ … you can’t pray, “Our Father.”
If you glorify yourself … you can’t pray, “Hallowed be Thy name.”
If you reject His rules … you can’t pray, “Thy kingdom come.”
If you won’t submit … you can’t pray, “Thy will be done.”
If your life is only for here and now … you can’t pray, “On earth as it is in heaven.”
If you are self-sufficient … you can’t pray, “Give us our daily bread.”
If you won’t forgive … you can’t pray, “Forgive us our debts.”
If you seek sin … you can’t pray, “Lead us not into temptation.”
If you are a friend of evil … you can’t pray, “Deliver us from evil.”
If you build your own kingdom … you can’t pray, “Thine is the kingdom.”
If you want power … you can’t pray, “Thine is the power.”
If you always take credit … you can’t pray, “Thine is the glory.”
And also:" we cannot make a final judgment concerning the salvation of any professing Christian, for only God knows those who truly belong to him. “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity” (2 Tim. 2:19)."
So true! So well said.
1 Cor. 6:1-3 and Mathew 5.
We are all on the way to the last judgment where the sheep will be separated from the goats. "first be reconciled to your brother"..."whiles thou art in the way with him;"
Great Sermon! For people who know Plautdietsch : this is a series that is important to listen to in our day and age: fa Menschen de doa plautdietsch vestonnen dise botschauften sent wichtich no to horchen fa de teit wua wie benn senn,

Great Sermon! Excellent sound accurate biblical teaching. "Remarriage" is ongoing adultery and should be repented of just like any other sin, but Scripture is clear that no adulterers or fornicators will inherit the Kingdom of heaven God will not be mocked. The enemy has had a hand in corrupting translations and definitions of words to blind us. God bless you for speaking the truth in love
Helpful Sermon! Thank you for having the courage to preach this much needed message. I was wondering about the wisdom of promoting some things in our church such as Samaritan's Purse, and so was searching for information on the social gospel. May God richly bless you for so clearly presenting His Truth.
Great Sermon! Hi Phil:
I was really looking forward to this message, on Fear of the Lord, but I must say that the spirit in which it was delivered I struggled to listen to it all the way through. It's not a message I would want to pass on. I would like to reply only positively, but to be honest with you I must inform you negatively as well. May the Lord direct you and bless you.
Great Sermon! Hi Phil, This is very well done, I fully agree with the way you brought out Satan's attempt to share the glory that belongs to God alone. Satan truly thought he had a strong possibility of gaining lordship and being worshiped as God. I believe that because Satan dared to attempt such an act he is very much undermined by many of us today. Bless you for bringing that out so well.
