Seoul Bible Church, located in Gwanak-gu Seoul, began with ministry for GFA missionaries in Korea. Other ex-pats working at Seoul Christian School, with the American military, and other occupations joined over time. In August, 2023, GFA missionary and SBC pastor Doug Threlfall returned home to the States after 40 years of service to Koreans. Seoul Bible Church called tentmaker Jonathan Bright to be pastor in June, 2024.
We focus on exposition of the Scriptures with warm-hearted conservative music, good fellowship, and a love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Our 11:00 AM service is bilingual (with English translated into Korean and sometimes vice-versa).
Please feel welcome to join us the next time you're in Seoul. We're near Bongcheon station on line 2 of the subway. Euncheon Elementary School is just across the street from us.
