Gent Baptist Church is a conservative, King James Version only, Bible believing Independent Fundamental Baptist Church; with a heart for Gent Belgium. We are located just outside of the center of Gent, in the community of Gentbrugge. Our church is directly across from the northbound E17 exit, to Gentbrugge, on Brusselsesteenweg. We are easily accessible by tram or bus, with both stopping directly in front of our building. For those coming by car, there three different Park and Ride parking lots, one on each side of our building. Those coming by train can either walk from the train station in Gentbrugge, or take tram number 2 from Gent-Sint-Pieters station. All of our services are in English, with translation to Romanian and French-Lingala on Sundays and Wednesdays; however all languages and peoples are welcome, we do our best to accommodate and can typically translate in many other languages when necessary. In the short time we have been open we have had the privilege of entertaining people from nearly 100 different countries. We have three Bible studies each week open to the entire church on: Sunday morning, Sunday midday, and Wednesday evening. During the Sunday morning service we offer a children's church, making the service more convenient for parents with younger children. We also offer a nursery for babies, it is available for use in every service. We have multiple evangelism programs to spread the gospel in the city of Gent every week. During the week we have people who go door knocking to share the gospel. On Saturday we take a group to the Korenmarkt to give out gospel tracts and preach on the street. Each year we are able to give out up to 60,000 gospel tracts, and knock on numerous doors; in order to do our best to share the gospel. Here we believe that the Bible, God's Word, is the sole authority in all matters; please come and learn the Word of God with us. We also believe in Christ centered, God honoring worship and music.
