He covers a great deal of distance and time in these verses, travelling through Macedonia and Greece only to end up back in Asia with the Ephesian elders two years later. Though we hear few details of this trip, we know that Paul takes every chance to encourage the churches he loves with the word and power of the gospel. All the while he is seemingly aware that he will not be passing this way ever again.
