Adam didn't come from a pre-existent protohuman or evolve from a lower lifeform over millions of years. He was specially created formed from the dirt of the ground by the very hands of God who then imparted life to his new creation through his own divine breath. So God is not an absentee Creator, but one who was intimately involved in our origin. Do you want to know why you are here alive and breathing on this planet? Darwin can't answer that question. Naturalism has no answer to that question. Atheistic or agnostic philosophers cannot answer that question. The answer to that question is found right here in the only inerrant and infallible record of who made us and where we came from: we are here to know and be in relationship with our Creator, and we can know him eternally through the person and work of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
