Politicians tend to stoop really low to stay in power when they feel their security and positon threatened. Notice that Haman—the Jews archenemy was an Agagite. Where did they come from?

We are not to pick and choose the things to get out of our lives. Sometimes, we deal with the large outward sins and overlook the inward sins. We quit drinking, smoking, chewing, cussing, and even doing drugs, yet we make excuses for the allowance of the inner sins. In a weak moment when your old man has the upper hand over the inner man, you will fail because you did not surrender completely when you had opportunity to deal with those things God would have weakened. (2 Timothy 2:19-22)
