True worship and sacrifices acceptable to God must be from hearts of faith that love and believe God, and show love to our brothers (1 John 3:9-12). Our hearts must be right with God before our sacrifices are acceptable to God. Love of God from the heart reveals itself in our love for others. We are created to be our brother's keeper, and this love for our brother shows that we truly love God and walk by faith. Faith, love and humility characterize the children of Abel, the seed of the woman. Unbelief and hypocrisy are two root and foundational sins that characterize the children of Cain, or the seed of the serpent (Gen. 3:15).
