One of those hopes is found in Job 19 where despite the fact that he seems to have little hope that God will act on his behalf he says this "I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God" While it is doubtful Job had a resurrection in mind, we still can see the future of hope of our future Redeemer, Christ, who would come to the dust of the earth and restore us along with Job.
