Aim: To understand and practice the means by which we glorify God.
Exegesis: We glorify God by heeding His word, which gives us specific directives (vv. 1-3) and promises (vv. 4-6). We glorify God by praising His Son. Let us exalt Him as the Messiah (v. 7), hail Him as Lord (v. 8), and proclaim His as the King (vv. 9-10). We glorify God by honoring His house, making its worship (v. 11a) and people (v. 11b) a priority.
Key verse: v. 9 ''Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: 'Hosanna! ''Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'''''
