Over the recent months I've been greatly edified by the ministry of Dr. John Carrick. Dr. Carrick teaches homiletics at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in South Carolina. He kindly came to Sheboygan in the fall for our Reformation Conference, and gave two stimulating lectures. The first covered Martin Luther, and the second related to the preaching of Jonathan Edwards. On that Lord's Day Dr. Carrick preached two excellent sermons from Romans related to the great doctrine of justification by faith alone. These four lectures/sermons are well worth hearing. I've also enjoyed Dr. Carrick's recent book on the preaching of Jonathan Edwards. Again, well worth the time and effort!
