“Coffee with Christ”
(Matthew 7:5)
“Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.”
Yes, the Church is full of hypocrites! Yet the first thing worldly people do when the church stands against sin is quote Matthew 7:1, “Judge not lest ye be judged.” What they are doing is judging people for judging them! Which in itself is hypocrisy. Then, they judge the church and say I’m not going down there with that bunch of hypocrites! They will go set next to the same church members in the bleachers at a football game and have a good time. The truth is in some way, we are all sinners. We all have traces of hypocrisy in us. Some more blatant than others and yet it is there in us all. To stop going to church because there are sinners there is not an option! That too is the sin of hypocrisy.
(Hebrews 10:24-25)
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
