“Coffee with Christ”

(Proverbs 20:7)
“Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?”

“Sin in others this I see, but thank the Lord there’s none in me!” It’s hard not to look at ourselves through rose colored glasses but the truth is, there is none good, no not one. For all have sinned and do sin. We all come short of the glory of God! We will never become sinless in this life, but we can and should strive to sin less and less as we live out our Christian lives. Chris Young sang a song called “The Man I Want To Be”. The last of the lyrics say, “God I’m asking you to come change me, into the man I want to be” I want to be a faithful man. Not to just have saving faith, but to live a faithful life. Only by the Grace of God.

(Lamentations 3:22-26)
“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.”
