(Acts 26:28)
“Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.”

“Almost persuaded” Almost, but lost! What is it that persuades a person to repent from sin and have faith toward Christ? If God does everything equally for every person as far as atonement, conviction, illumination, and regeneration, what is it that makes the difference and causes the change in the one that goes to heaven and the one who does not? Faith you say? But why does one have faith and not the other? Was he smarter, more sensitive, or more righteous than the other? If God does everything equally for everyone the difference MUST be human. One did something in and of himself that was better, (had faith) than the other! That is meritorious salvation, not undiluted grace. But God does not do everything equally for every person. He can change a sinners heart anytime He chooses. If not, why would you pray for Him to save anyone? Hasn’t He already done all He can? I don’t think so. I believe He can violate their will by imposing His Sovereign will. I believe He can change their heart of stone to a heart of flesh. I believe He can open the eyes of the blind and raise the dead! I believe God can. Others believe man won’t let Him. Who then is Sovereign?
