“Coffee with Christ” (Hebrews 2:3) “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;” How shall we escape if we neglect? We shall not? The good ship of Grace is the only rescue we have from the prison and bondage of sin. All else is flesh and the flesh profiteth nothing when it comes to our salvation! The stronger the bondage of the prison a person is trapped in, the greater the salvation through escape. The only escape of the bondage of spiritual death is the gift of Spiritual life by the unmerited favor of God. To mix this Grace with any human merit is to spoil the purity of Grace. To fail to perceive and receive this Grace is to fail to escape. (Romans 11:5-7) “Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded”
