(1 Corinthians 2:11)
“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.”

What is the spirit of man and The Spirit of God other than the mind, will, and emotion of the person? Is it not the mind, will and emotions of a man that know the things of humanity? Is not the mind will and emotions of man actually the spirit of man? When a person dies, is not the spirit of the man departed from the body? Physical death then is separation. Is it not the separation of the inner from the outer man. Would not Spiritual death then be the same only concerning the Spirit of God departing from humanity. Is not regeneration the coming back together of the human spirit and the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God moving on the natural man’s soul in such a way as to wake him to Spiritual light and truth, bring him to conviction, guilt, faith and repentance before God The Father upon which time His Spirit, The Holy Spirit takes up residence in my body working together with my spirit, giving me Spiritual understanding. Man was created in the image of God! A three fold being. Body, Soul (the human spirit) and Spirit (God’s Spirit living in communion with mans spirit). The sin of Adam caused the Spiritual death of mankind. God’s Spirit departed man’s spirit. Now by the death burial and resurrection of Christ, through faith, we are born again, re-generated, brought back together with The Spirit of God. We have the mind of Christ, The mind of God, The Holy Spirit, living inside the dirt man once again!
