So are we to be marked out as different. The easy way of the world is filled to overflowing with those who despise our God, and we who belong to Him are despised for His name's sake... we are mocked, ridiculed, abused, hated and scorned. We stand daily at the crossroads of decision: Who shall we follow? Which path will we tread? It is easy to go in the way of the world, the path of least resistance, to turn aside from following after truth because of the pressure that is always being pressed upon us. But that path leads only to destruction. To have the broad and smooth way here and now leads to an eternity of misery. Do not allow the pressure of the world to divert you from following truth! Do not allow the opinions of fools to rob you of your wisdom. Do not sell your birthright for the rotting stew of this life's pleasure, ease and praise. Instead, cling to the narrow path, the steep and winding way which leads to the rarified air of the courts of heaven. Stay the course, little one, your Father delights in your faithful labor, as you struggle in the upward way, heaven waits with open arms to welcome you home!! Do not forget that the weight of popular opinion is never connected to truth! Many and few~ we are ALWAYS the few.
