Faulty reasoning and irrational statements are not necessarily sinful. However, pride, slander, lying, hyprocrisy and stubborness are. May you, and all of us for that matter, remember that God has said, he that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. May God grant you the needed repentance to find His mercy.

amen, no one is advocating for girls dressing immodestly. We all support modest dress by all people. You live in Florida, you see immodest dress nearly all the time as you go out, according to sc logic you are sinning by putting yourself in the position to see such. According to sc logic, you can't help but lust in the presence of immodest dress, you have no godly standards, you have no drive for holiness, you have no desire to live for God, you are just like an animal and lust by instinct, you can't help yourself.

See how you twist things. None of my post were about the Super bowl, you implied that immodesty was worse than fornication. You were proved wrong and your pride refuses to admit it. You assigned a post to me that I did not make--which you let stand after you were told it was not, making you a liar--, and made statements that are not true about me, in case you didn't realize it, that is slander. Even though you cried foul when another poster assigned someone else's post to you and demanded an apology, you hypocritically did not find any problem when you did it. If you fancy yourself a mature Christian, you are sadly mistaken. Meditate on the verses given, it will do you good.

1Timothy 6:4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions

Yup, John T Reed had it right about debates, when your points are losing in the discussion you start with accusations, change the subject, and start with stereotyping. I did not write the 1/24/16 5:52 post. I have not said a thing one way or the other as to whether you should watch the Superbowl or said you should wink at sin. I don't accept your premise that the site of any women inappropriately attired automatically causes men to entertain lustful thoughts. Yet as I predicted, even though you were shown otherwise, you will not acknowledge the inaccuracy of the post with which you started this thread.

Not a sport,the article wasn't about cold weather (95 degrees is hot)and you will search in vain for anybody advocating for cheerleaders in this thread or stating they didn't dress appropriately. The statement was made at the start of the thread that those watching a football game would be doing *worse* than those who go to a pornographic website. Statement two by sc lets you know she is talking about how the cheerleaders are attired. Saying that a person who has covering and would only be seen for just seconds at football game is worse than a person without covering doing the unthinkable on a pornographic website is untenable. To infer that someone with internet access can't wait for that possible few seconds exposure, that may not even happen, at a televised football game is ludicrous. She couldn't even come with a Bible verse that backed her position because none of the verses she cited said that being immodestly appareled would lead to eternal damnation. Remember Jesus taught whoso looks on a women *to lust* --to desire or covet--after her has committed adultery in his heart, not whoso sees a women and doesn't have lustful thoughts. To imply that Christian men can't help but think lustful adulterous thoughts at the least temptation is disrespectful and abhorrent.

No but you are. Only the perverse would watch a football game for a fleeting glance at a cheerleader who get but seconds in the broadcast. The lost person would tell you they watch what happens on the field, go ahead and ask.

You falsely assume that everytime a man sees a woman in passing that is inappropriately dressed that they feel lust in their heart and commit mental adultery. Especially since you and the other poster are singling out Christian men. You obviously have a very low opinion of them. You cannot escape in the public seeing people who are inappropriately attired, so it is sadly part of the fallen world in which we sojourn.

I don't know about you but it takes use of the physical body that I am in to go to work for monetary gain. But all that aside for you to say that a person who is not dressed properly is worse than what is available at porn sites is a statement based in ignorance and your lack of willingness to acknowledge that is a statement based in arrogance.

Your turn put out the verses that show the same judgment of God for baring a thigh in public or for that matter nakedness that are given for fornication and sexual deviancy. No, I am not saying that it should be done, but your perspective is skewed.
kw she was referring to upcoming games and worse is 1st word she used.
