Not with a democracy consisting of God-haters... ...unless by executive order, maybe.

Yes, and I agree with John UK on many points, but we do not agree on this one. May God bless you, brother John. May He cover with His wings of protection, provision, and guidance!

I truly believe that this particular incident and it’s footage will be a great help to congregations across America. Many churches have been shy in implementing any kind of security team even in the light of increased mass shootings. This account helps to prove the effectiveness and efficiency of a well trained and well organized security team.

Cultural bias, yes. And a different way of interpreting Scripture. A sword is for cutting, slashing, and stabbing... ... not marshmallows.

Watch the footage. The man was off screen when he pulled the trigger. He then approached carefully with gun ready but in a safe direction. He didn’t need to shoot him again. There is good reason to say that this man was well-trained and justified in his use of force. The law enforcement agency applauded him for saving many, many lives. I totally support his action and praise God for helping him do what he did.

...lives from destruction. Praise God for men who can stand against evil and behave valiantly in the face of death and danger! Praise God for courageous men who can act and think wisely in the midst of chaos!

John UK, I have read the Bible several times through. At times, my interpretation may vary from yours.

And there’s a difference between indiscriminate mass murder and persecution. Persecution is the torture or killing of Christians just because they are Christians. Many of these serial murderers are just looking for a large group of sitting ducks i.e. grocery store, school, church, synagogue, park, etc, not necessarily Christians. This may be different in your country as you have been overrun by Muslims as of late. If I was just walking in the Market and someone stabbed me out of the blue, I wouldn’t necessarily assume that it was persecution even though I am a Christian.

In this particular case, the man who stopped the carnage was not taking the law into his own hands nor could it be defined as self defense. As seen in the video footage he was at least a good 20 to 30 feet away from the shooter and could have easily escaped with his own life, but instead he answered the call of duty and faced the music. He was doing exactly as the police would have done had they been there. He was heroically saving over 200 people from being slaughtered had the shooter had enough ammunition. The Lord helping me, I trust that I would have done exactly the same thing as he did in saving many

Also please notice, these bloody attacks are more common in areas where stricter gun control has been implemented. Cause and effect? Coincidence? Hmmm...

John UK, so I suppose that you would say that the police who stop a mass shooter are also sinning by committing the crime of murder? This is getting pretty confusing.

John UK, I would also like to challenge your statement about Job not having any armed protection. If you know anything about that time in history and the biblical account of other Godly families in that time period you may think differently.

“Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.”

“However, if he did not lie in wait, but God delivered him into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place where he may flee. “But if a man acts with premeditation against his neighbor, to kill him by treachery, you shall take him from My altar, that he may die.”
