Matthew 19:4-64. And He answered and said, âHave you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5. and said, âFor this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one fleshâ? 6. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.â -- https://tinyurl.com/has82mk (NASB) I have news for this person any Christian should think that homosexuality is immoral! I would say even Orthodox Jews would have a problem â 1 Timothy 1:8-11 8. But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9. realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers 10. and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, 11. according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted. -- https://tinyurl.com/has82mk (NASB) |

Wikipedia wrote: Snyder v. Phelps, 562 U.S. 443 (2011), was a landmark decision of the US Supreme Court... .... The case brought up the issue of whether or not the First Amendment protected public protestors at a funeral against claims of emotional distress, better known as tort liability. It involved a claim of intentional infliction of emotional distress, claimed by Albert Snyder, a man whose son Matthew Snyder, a U.S. Marine, was killed during the Iraq War. The claim was made in response to the actions of the Phelps family as well as the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) who were also present at the picketing of the funeral. The Court ruled in favor of Phelps in an 8â1 decision, determining that their speech related to a public issue was completely protected, and could not be prevented as it was on public property.... excerpt from, "Snyder v. President Obama, had not been perfect in truth telling that the PolitiFact site pointed out in 2017:"Weâve also been noting his policy flip-flops, annotating his State of the Union addresses and tracking over 500 of his campaign promises. There were a couple of replies to the article which were very satisfactory in answering this fellow's proposition. Physical attendance should be the norm and virtual attendance only when the person can't come physically to a church group. |
