Let's all play insane and pretend for a minute or two that abortion is statistically proven to boom the economy. Let's say that each abortion adds X amount of dollars to our GDP. In the end it would all make no difference because the devastating effects of God's wrath on this nation would far outweigh any of the economic benefits of abortion. In reality, a shrinking population means less producers and consumers which, duh, makes for a smaller, ever weakening economy.
Didn't read the article yet but it wouldn't surprise me if that Autumn fella was a rat sent to avenge the first set of perverts who told Jack to celebrate their abominations. Sometimes I wonder why we're in this hand basket and why it's getting so warm?
Hey Kidney Hiller (still have yet to find out what that is) mocking other Christians' convictions produces nothing but dissension. And by the way, like many other southern farmers I don't do anything on a sunny day without a broad brimmed straw hat. It helps keep me cool and prevents sunburn. And what kind of a nut would make it a point to be outdoors during the hottest time of day anyway? (10am to 4pm) Morning and evening is when you feed the dogs, horse, chickens, and most importantly of course, the ducks. It's also when you do just about anything else outside. Great points John UK. Are head coverings common in churches in Wales?
Of course not Donny. They have no reason since there's no prayer, worship, or singing going on anyway. Christians should focus their energies on getting rid of state controllled schools and getting their kids out of them rather than trying to outwardly clean up the system. Scripture puts educational responsibilities on the family and in some cases the church, never the government. I'm guessing you don't think head coverings are necessary?
Neil you just summed up exactly my view on the subject! Well done! What I said about the vast majority of Christians rejecting head coverings was not entirely true. I should have said the vast majority of AMERICANS have rejected the practice. As you said, middle eastern christians still do it. Also women in Northern Ireland, Africa, and a lot of other places. No doubt the feminist movement helped get rid of head coverings, hence why, as you said, men are still expected to remove their hats during prayer, worship, etc. And no we don't have to have a clear reason to obey, sometimes we just have to do it.
That's horrible Dr. Tim! I'd be happy to loan you my mules and mule cart until you can get it fixed up. Just let me borrow some of them goats so I still have a way to get my ducks to the market thrity miles away.
Good point amishchristian. I'm not sure why head coverings have been rejected by the overwhelming majority of modern Christians. I'm the only person I know that holds this view. On a similar note, as an Amish person, how are you comfortable with using computers? I'm not questioning your character at all just curious on the view that you and the Amish community at large holds to. Are you an exception?
Carl, your comment sounds completely insane. But I'm afraid I'll have to agree. When some pastors were saying in the 1990s that sodomite marriage was on the way, most people said they were crazy. I guarantee you that polygamy will be legal before you know it. The toilet's flushing alot faster than we realize.
Agreed Don Tian. The liberals are always trying to get nice an' cuddly with Islam. Little do they that if Sharia law were put in place, their heads would be the first to go. Then they would be begging for the Trump monster to be back again.
