  Yes. Anything goes.

Sometimes. Some violent games are OK. For example War Games. But no gratuitous violence.

No. Christians should never 'virtually' participate in violent games of any kind as entertainment.

  Other.

No answer. Skip this survey, I do not care to vote on this topic.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Php 4:8)

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (Gal 5:19-25)

Good poll question. I've been playing shooting games for my whole life but do think the gratuitous violence is wrong. I enjoy war games such as "Star Craft", "Crysis", "Rainbow 6 and other tactical war games. Please email me if you have concerns for my soul or sanctification. As far as I am concerned, my conscience does not bite me about it. I would love to hear from you.

I don't know. Playing with the Calvinists can get pretty violent.

" I play rugby and see nothing wrong with it."
____

People do all sorts of things they see nothing wrong with—just good clean fun!!!

People all around us are going to hell but their lethargy and unconcern allows them to play ball with the unsaved without telling them "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life."

Those that are truly sincere with God and His compassion for lost souls do not have time or interest in the entertainments and foolishness of the wicked world.

1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

In the love of Jesus Christ with prayers
Abigail

As a Christian, who has the time to play much less "play" violent games? We are in the world to serve God and enjoy Him. Part of that service requires the defense of the truth in violent spiritual battles the world knows nothing about. "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." Matt. 11:12
